Cultural Trip and NGO Internships in London
We are pleased to present our Cultural Trip and NGO Internships in London.
For the fifth year we offer a special program for young people 16 years and older that will allow them to develop a better fluency in real English and in everyday situations with London citizens. To access the program you only need an A1 level of English.
The program consists of doing internships in retail stores, NGOs, and other customer service companies, for a period of 2 weeks, from Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. .
But with the evenings and weekends free to explore LondonLondones! >
It is the opportunity to start a work experience while practicing English in real situations. The ideal way to improve communication, expand your CV and also get to know the culture and way of working in the UK.
A great opportunity to have a fun experience, practicing English, in a dynamic, modern, intercultural city, and with one of the best offers cultural leisure and entertainment in the world.
London is full of monuments, museums, shops and markets, department stores, theme parks, emblematic neighbourhoods…
Students will perfect their English, learn about the London way of life and their working methods, accompanied in their free time by our monitor.
In this way, Canterbury Consulting Spain offers students aged 16 and over the possibility of taking a leap in improving their level of English, while integrating into the dynamics of London companies. Learning to manage in the world of work.
SCHEDULES AND EXCURSIONS
WORKING DAYS
From Monday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. they will carry out their work helping as volunteers in Charity Shops on the main streets of London neighborhoods.
They will learn how to work as a team, helping their colleagues in the store on a day-to-day basis, receiving direction from store managers and interacting with the public on foot who come in to make their purchases.
After the work days, the participants will begin to tour historical London, its emblematic shops, renowned parks, world-famous museums and its charming neighbourhoods.
WEEKENDS
On weekends there will be a complete itinerary visiting:
- Camden Town.
- Hyde Park.
- Harrods.
- Chelsea.
- Pool of London walk.
- Etc.
ACCOMMODATION
Canterbury Consulting Spain will make the necessary arrangements for all students to stay with London families on a full-board basis. p>
Your stay in London with Homestay accommodation in the heart of Royal Greenwich.
Homestay is the perfect way to feel “at home” while doing business work practices and English is practiced.
The host family will treat you as a member of the home, eating together and sharing life together, thus achieving full integration into the life of the United Kingdom .
Homestay is also a way to practice language skills and get to know the way of life in the host country.
The young people will be accompanied at all times by a qualified monitor from Canterbury Consulting Spain who will travel with them and will accompany and guide them during their stay.
The organization and coordination is in charge of James Clarke (director of English Aventures FFCT College of Teaching London, Director and coordinator of Leisure and Free Time for the Spanish Red Cross) and the entire team of “Twin Group”, a company associated with English Adventures in London.
