Summer camps community of Madrid in English
An English immersion camp made with an interactive methodology : workshops , video reports , adventureactivities and a fun contest that will challenge students to challenges, enigmas and debates , using new technologies in Geo Location and the old town of El Escorial as a playground.
All activities , games and quiz are done in English . At the end of the activities the students will be able to take an international certification test, TOEFL Junior , which will be important for their future studies.
Starting on July 5 through our international program BSSEP, a group of British students from the Clapham Girls Academy in London will arrive at the summer camps in Madrid. They will share the activities with the Spanish students.

STUDENT PROGRAM BSSEP
Groups of students from Madrid and Galicia will meet to share interactive workshops and adventure activitieswhile preparing for the arrival of the British students who will arrive on day 5. Students stay in dormitories of 4 to 8 beds that allows them to be with their children. own friends while making new friends. The activities of the community summer camps of Madrid in English, include technological workshops, video reports, multi-adventure and culture in the historic center of the city of El Escorial.

ACTIVITY JOHN MUIR AWARD
John Muir was a pioneer ecologist in his time and very active. Among his works we can find 10 books and about 300 articles. In them he explains in great detail his experiences traveling and exploring many beautiful natural landscapes. He defended with vehemence his ideas on the preservation of nature, wild animals and large natural spaces, having great impact. In 1892 he formed the first group defender of nature in the whole world, the so-called ” Sierra Club ” . During the summer camp in Madrid, an international environmental project willbe carried out following the methodology and program of the John Muir Trust , an organization in the United Kingdom that promotes and sponsors environmental school projects .
This project is based on four pillars :

SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCE (Share the experience).
Students will be divided into four groups : Earth, Water, Air and Fire , competing.
In this activity, they will explore the natural environment of El Escorial to investigate, design and carry out an environmental project, supervised by their English teachers and specialized monitors in the environment . Once the projects of each of the groups are completed, they will be broadcast by multimedia in the facilities of the in Madrid, El Escorial.
